Turning Water
Data Into Resilient Solutions

why streamline

Streamline combines technical expertise, innovative technology, and a practical approach to help clients solve complex infrastructure challenges with confidence. We work closely with our clients to understand their goals, identify the right solutions, and deliver results that are both technically sound and built for real-world conditions.

Our team brings together experience across water resources, flood risk management, infrastructure, geospatial technology, and advanced modeling. By combining these capabilities with responsive communication and a commitment to execution, we help communities make informed decisions, reduce risk, and build infrastructure that is prepared for the future.

service overview

how our hydrology & hydraulics service helps you

Streamline Engineering provides advanced hydrologic and hydraulic analyses that form the foundation of resilient infrastructure planning and flood risk management. Our team develops watershed hydrology, riverine hydraulics, stormwater, and two-dimensional flood models to evaluate existing conditions, predict system performance, and identify practical solutions. From localized drainage improvements to regional watershed studies, we deliver technically rigorous analyses that support engineering design, regulatory compliance, floodplain management, and long-term community resilience.

Complex Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Modeling

We develop advanced one- and two-dimensional hydrologic and hydraulic models to evaluate flooding, watershed response, infrastructure performance, and flood mitigation alternatives.

Bridge & Culvert Hydraulics

We analyze and design bridge and culvert crossings to safely convey flood flows, minimize scour, and comply with federal, state, and local hydraulic design
requirements.

Scour analysis

We evaluate the potential for erosion around bridges, culverts, and hydraulic
structures to support resilient design, asset management, and regulatory
compliance.

Sediment modeling

We simulate sediment transport, channel stability, and erosion processes to assess long-term stream behavior and support sustainable infrastructure
solutions.

Dam breach analysis

We perform dam breach modeling to evaluate potential downstream inundation, support emergency action planning, and satisfy dam safety regulatory requirements.

water availability studies

We assess surface water and groundwater resources to evaluate water supply availability, project feasibility, and long-term water management strategies.

Case Study

Judson Road & Lookout Road Drainage Improvements

Recurring flooding at the Judson Road and Lookout Road low-water crossings posed a significant risk to public safety, emergency access, and transportation reliability. The project required replacing aging drainage infrastructure while accommodating railroad constraints, minimizing impacts to surrounding development, reducing flood risk, and supporting state and federal grant funding initiatives.

Case Study

Judson Road &
Lookout Road Drainage Improvements

Recurring flooding at the Judson Road and Lookout Road low-water crossings posed a significant risk to public safety, emergency access, and transportation reliability. As the drainage lead, Streamline developed comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic
analyses to evaluate existing flood conditions and optimize proposed improvements.
